Treasure Valley Camera Club WIF Participation

One of the highlights of our year is participating in the Photography Exhibition at the Western Idaho Fair (WIF). This event provides us with an opportunity to showcase our work and share our passion for photography with the wider community.

To help ensure the success of the WIF Photography Exhibition, the Treasure Valley Camera Club along with the Boise Camera Club volunteer their time to help staff the exhibit. Volunteers help with setting up and taking down the exhibit, greeting visitors, and monitoring the exhibit.

Volunteering for this event is not only important to the success of the Photography Exhibition, but it also benefits the financial health of the Treasure Valley Camera Club by paying us for providing club members to staff the exhibit. The fee we receive is equivalent to dues from an additional 50 members.

Photography Events:

Two free “Photo Preparation” Workshops are being held this summer on June 27 and July 17.

Two Photo Walks are scheduled for Opening Day, Friday, Aug 16.

Photograph Divisions

WIF Photography Divisions include: Professional, Advanced Amateur, Amateur, and Senior Vision. Descriptions for each of these divisions and classes can be found in the Western Idaho Fair photography rules.

Superintendent's Challenge Division 5

This Challenge is open to all, regardless of your Division. Your entry fee of $25.00 (per Challenge) is pooled with all other entrants’ fees for the Challenge(s) you enter and then it’s winner take all!

This year there are two Challenges:

Class 200 - Lifestyle Photography (Raw)

Class 201 - Minimalist Photography
